Discharge Printing With discharge prints fabrics are dyed prior to printing, then the design is applied with a chemical that bleaches out the color of the originally dyed fabric. One example is a white micro dot on a navy ground. The fabric is dyed navy, then the dots are “printed” with a chemical that takes away the navy color.
